Well, maybe this post isn’t very related to Samsung phones, but since Samsung is releasing its handsets with Windows Mobile OS I decided to post about a Skype version for this OS here
Skape has been finally updated to run of Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional(as far as I know, it runs on Windows Mobile 5 as well).
New Skype version has been tested on Samsung i900 Omnia here.
Althought, chatting isn’t very bad, there are few drawbacks. for instance, when making a call, the touchscreen still remains active, so it’s possible to press something with your ears
Samsung expects that its sales of Omnia phone in the end of June is going to record 20,000, after the release of it in Singapore on June 21st.

Here is a short list of Omnia’s specifications:
Previously rumored Samsung Primera is now officially announced by Samsung as Samsung i8510 INNOV8. This phone with lots of features will be available in Europe in the August, and September in the other markets. It will be available in both 8GB and 16GB versions, just like iPhone 3G and Samsung Omnia.

i8510 is based on Symbian OS V9.3, S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 and features quad-band GSM and dual-band HSDPA 7.2Mbps (900/2100 MHz) support.
Its most famous feature probably is 8 megapixel camera which comes with Smart Reader, Image Stabilizer, Auto-Panorama Shot, Smile Shot, Blink Shot, Wide Dynamic Range and Face Detection. Unfortunattely there is dual power LED instead of xenon flash.
Also the handset comes with A-GPS technology with navigation and geo-tagging.
Here is the list of its other features:
Since Apple released its iPhone everyone is talking about it and comparing it to other phones. I decided to compare Apple’s new product - iPhone 3G to Samsung’s i900 Omnia. Let’s see if the iPhone is really as good as everyone is thinking.

So, after the review of the specs, I think that Omnia has a lead, but in conclusion I won’t write that Omnia is better, so don’t buy iPhone
Everyone’s got a different taste and requirements. If you don’t need a good camera you can buy iPhone only because of the design, or something else.
Deciding what handset is better is up to you
It would be greate if you wrote your opinion in comments.
You can see full specifications of these phones on GSMarena. Here are i900 Omnia’s and iphone 3G specifications.
